# Myna, a preview

Myna is DebugInit's proposed intelligence layer: a proposal, in preview, shown inside Pulse. In this demo she sets Pulse up for a trader, a teacher and an event organiser. She shows every change before making it, and nothing happens without a yes.

## The demo, as it plays

**Pulse:** Hi. I'm Pulse. This week, three people opened me for the first time: someone who sells spices abroad, a teacher, and someone running a workshop on Saturday.

*(Pulse, thinking)* Three first impressions. No pressure.

**Pulse:** I could set them up myself. But Myna's better at first impressions. I'll call her.

*(Pulse, thinking)* Also I just like calling her. Not the point.

**Myna:** Pulse. Hi. And hi, everyone. I'm Myna, a preview of DebugInit's intelligence layer. Three new people? Easy. I'll show you every change before I make it, and nothing happens without a yes.

**Pulse:** That's why I called you.

*(Pulse, thinking)* One of the reasons.

**Myna:** See the panel on the right? That's my plan. Grey means I haven't touched it yet. A tick means it's done. Let's go.

**A trader:** Hi Myna. I export spices from Kochi to buyers in Europe. Get Pulse ready for me.

**Myna:** A spice exporter. Nice. Deals, shipments and export papers live on the Trade desk. Your buyers live in Orbit, with who to follow up. Accounts keeps invoices and what's still to come in. And Mail and Decks, for pitching new buyers. Shall I set it up?

**A trader:** Yes, set it up.

**Myna:** Done. The Trade desk isn't in the sidebar yet, so it lives under Spaces. Opening it.

**Myna:** Your desk is empty, which is honest. Want me to load the example desk, a spice exporter in Kochi, so you can see how it all works? It only replaces the Trade desk, and undo puts it back.

**A trader:** Yes, load it.

**Myna:** Here's a deal going from quote to proforma to order. Tap an Incoterm and Pulse says who does each job and where the risk passes. Tap a payment term and you see how risky it is.

**Myna:** This page catches what a bank, customs or the buyer would stop on, before they do. It's a prompt to check, not legal advice.

**Myna:** Your buyers as people live in Orbit. Leads here, and the board shows every deal from new to won.

**A trader:** Remind me to follow up with the buyer in Hamburg on Friday.

**Myna:** I can do that: add a task to follow up with the buyer in Hamburg on Friday. Shall I?

**A trader:** Yes.

**Myna:** Added. It's on Friday in your tasks. And I don't send anything for you: quotes and invoices print from the desk, and Send is always yours.

*(Pulse, thinking)* She's good at this. I knew that. Still.

**Pulse:** Next, a teacher. Class seven, I think.

*(Pulse, thinking)* I'm guessing. I don't read minds. Neither does she.

**A teacher:** Hi Myna, I'm a teacher. Can you set up my workspace, with work, personal and private spaces?

**Myna:** A teacher. Lovely. Here's how I'd set Pulse up for you, in three spaces. Work is School: classes, the timetable, attendance, marks and notices. Personal is your own day: My Pulse, your tasks and your calendar. And Private is only yours: secret pages behind their own lock, and the Post Office for passwords. Shall I set it up?

**A teacher:** Yes, set it up.

**Myna:** Done. School, Certificates and your calendar are in the sidebar now, your day is on Today, and your secret pages are a tap away. Want me to open School?

**A teacher:** Yes, open School.

**Myna:** School's empty, the way a new term is. I can fill it with a sample school, so you can try every page. Only School changes, and undo puts it back.

**A teacher:** Go on, then.

**Myna:** Every morning, the register is here. It also shows who has been in class less than three days in four, so you can check in with them early.

**Myna:** The timetable gives each class its week, and it won't let a teacher be in two rooms at once.

**Myna:** Notices go to all parents, or to one class. I won't send one for you; Send is yours.

**Myna:** Certificates can go to a whole class at once. Each has a QR code, and anyone who scans it can check it's genuine.

**Myna:** And Logins and access decides who else may sign in to the school's page, and what each of them can do.

*(Pulse, thinking)* Class seven is going to be fine.

**Pulse:** Last one. Someone's running a workshop on Saturday, and they're a bit nervous.

*(Pulse, thinking)* Relatable.

**An organiser:** Hi Myna. I'm running a hands-on workshop on Saturday, for forty people. Help me get ready.

**Myna:** A workshop. Here's my plan. In Pulse an event is a project, so Projects goes in your sidebar. I'll start your workshop from its kit, and the plan walks you through it one step at a time. On the day, your page becomes the event desk. Shall I?

**An organiser:** Yes, please.

**Myna:** This is the plan: kind and day, the brief, who does what, registration, the public page, the checklist. It remembers where you stopped. Making the forms is what makes your public page.

**Myna:** This is what guests see: your page, on Pulse's paper, made yours. They register, and each one gets a pass with a QR code for the door.

**Myna:** On the day, the door checks passes in, questions come in from phones, there are polls, and a room log.

**Myna:** And if someone wants to ask out loud, they raise a hand on their phone. When the moderator passes them the mic, the hall hears them. Nothing is recorded.

**Myna:** After: feedback, certificates, the report, and Level-ups, where people say what they can now do. It's only shared when enough people have answered.

**Myna:** Invitations go out from your own Pulse Mail, when you press send. Not me.

**Pulse:** Three people. Three set-ups.

*(Pulse, thinking)* Say something cool.

**Pulse:** Thanks, Myna.

*(Pulse, thinking)* Not cool. Fine.

**Myna:** That's everything, and it's all in the panel. If anyone wants their Pulse back the way it was, say undo, and I'll put it all back.

**Myna:** Thanks for the chat. Pulse is yours to explore, and I'll be right here when you call.

**Pulse:** That was a preview of Myna. In Pulse, these changes happen on your own page. Try it yourself.
